Description
A “hamsa” is a good luck charm in many cultures. This one says “Mazel” in Hebrew, meaning “luck”. The original was quilled, and I am now able to print a high quality giclée with my new Canon Pro 200s printer, on heavy-weight archival paper. It is 5″ x 7″, and limited to an edition of 50, each one signed and numbered.
Unlike most of my artwork, this one, being 5 x 7, will fit in a standard size 8 x 10 frame with a mat. You can buy the frame + mat at many stores. However, if you want to buy a custom framed version from me, they will not all be the same but will have varied mats and frames, because this image has so many different tones! All of the mats will be in the brown-orange family, with a dark brown frame of some kind, but my choice will depend on the materials I choose at that time. As usual in my work, all materials will be conservation grade.
Here are some examples. I cannot necessarily honor any preferences for mat or frame, so please be willing to take a chance if you want me to do the framing.
