Description
The Hebrew word “Chai” means “Life”. It also has the numerical value of 18 – so it is considered a lucky number. This artwork is completely made of quilling paper, and features the word “Chai” in different colors with accents of paper that I edged with 23K gold leaf. The background is a faintly striped brown paper that was gifted to me by a nun in Minnesota. It features an antique-looking wooden frame in a classical reed design, and measures about 11 x 15.
