At the beginning of October I attended the ArtFusion conference at the Estes Park YMCA. While it is a YMCA, with kids camps and all sorts of recreational facilities, it is much more – a huge, sprawling resort, with many types of accommodations and dining areas. This was “Eco week”, so it was filled with grade schoolers, as well as numerous adult conferences and reunions. It was very well run.
The conference was primarily for decorative artists, but I was invited to set up a table for the Society of Gilders. I also took a verre églomisé class from SOG member Mary Beth Ting, who helped me at the table and took this picture. On the day I left, there was a beautiful rainbow.
