Description
This is a representation of a verse from Parshat “Ki Teitzei”, Deut 22:6, “Thou shalt not take the dam with the young”. This is one of the laws regarding the humane treatment of animals, and by extension, all living creatures. “Dam” is an old word for “mother”, that was in the translation I used. Unfortunately, I learned later that not too many people are familiar with that term.
It is created using quilling and gouache painting.
